If you want yoga to enhance your athletic performance, it’s advantageous to have a teacher able to specifically tailor a practice with that goal in mind.
When serving athletes, I assess the mechanics of your sport and the demands of your training cycles. I design practice to enhance mobility appropriate to your sport–the goal is optimal, not maximal mobility. We use yoga to actively recover and/or appropriately cross train depending on your circumstances. I respect that yoga isn’t your primary athletic endeavor but a complement to it. I totally understand–I’m an athlete myself.
